Nhận thức của cha mẹ về Hội chứng rối loạn tăng động giảm chú ý ở học sinh tiểu học và các yếu tố ảnh hưởng
PARENTS’ PERCEPTION ABOUT ATTENTION DEFICIT HYPERACTIVITY DISORDER IN CHILDREN AND THE INFLUENCE ELEMENTSAbstract:
This paper describes the parents’ perception about Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in childrenunder the influence of the elements such as gender, occupation, educational degree and time for children per day. Parents’ awareness about ADHD is one of the factors that have an important role, giving timely and effectively diagnosis and intervention for children with this syndrome. Research on 310 parents of pupils from five elementary schools in Da Nang city (Vietnam) showed that most parents had misconception about the familial activities in supporting children with ADHD. Result also indicated that parents’ occupation did not correlate to their perception while their gender, educational degree and time they spent on children per day had a profound effect on their attitude and action in caring and teaching children with ADHD.
